The SAW website serves as a dynamic platform to support and promote Welsh talent, making it accessible to UK and international production companies. Since its launch, there has been a staggering 500% growth in registered users, showcasing the platform’s reach and effectiveness.
Bespoke cloud-based platform with enhanced CMS
The solution we designed and delivered was a bespoke cloud-based platform, integrating a web app with a powerful content management system. This setup provides SAW administrators with the flexibility they need to manage new members and publish industry content efficiently. The public-facing side of the website offers a welcoming space for students, companies, and professionals to showcase their industry skills.
Understanding and solving the core problems
SAW’s previous website needed an overhaul to better focus on skill development,attract investment, and build a sustainable community. We simplified and customised their Admin console for better workflow management and enhanced the brand presence to mirror the excitement of the film and TV industry.
Simplifying user onboarding
We transformed the user onboarding experience from a tedious process into a streamlined, step-by-step journey. This improvement in UX design led to higher completion rates, fewer errors, and increased user engagement with the platform.
A comprehensive production directory
The heart of the SAW project is its production directory, a database of verified Welsh talent. This directory has become the go-to resource for filmmakers and producers in Wales, allowing them to quickly find professionals across various disciplines.
Robust admin console for efficient management
The admin console we developed allows SAW staff to manage user accounts effectively, from approval and verification to promoting graduates and posting job vacancies. This centralised system ensures ease of use and efficiency in management.
Migrating to a new, flexible system
We seamlessly migrated 2,000 users from SAW’s previous systems to the new platform, introducing them to the new site with minimal disruption.
Innovative CMS and modular design system
Our headless CMS solution offers SAW admins intuitive control over content management. The modular design system ensures the site remains manageable and user-friendly, even as it evolves.
Custom brand Assets for a memorable experience
We created custom-branded UI components to ensure a visually appealing and engaging user experience. These elements not only enhance the site’s aesthetics but also strengthen the brand identity.
