Welcome to StrategiQ, a 51-strong integrated marketing, creative, and development team based in four offices in Suffolk, London, the Midlands, and Manchester. Our ‘One Team, One Agency, One Strategy’ mentality means that while everyone on our team has a specialism, we’re all marketers, including our developers, looking to make a significant impact on clients with a completely integrated approach to solving business challenges to drive growth.
We have switched our focus from delivering a web product to delivering a complete web experience, drawing on talent from across the agency, including design, UX, CX, video, animation, and of course, front and back-end development to deliver creative and technical excellence that performs. The result? The websites we now continue to build provide a robust, high-performance foundation for clients to then drive traffic to, generating genuine business impact.
As an agency, we’re passionate about entering awards. We recognise the intense work that goes into creating award-winning websites, and the submission process gives us valuable time to recapture exactly why we get up in the morning and see first hand how our development projects have performed.
In the past twelve months, we have focused heavily on building a development team that spans multiple disciplines and skill sets. In May, we welcomed two additional developers, further enhancing our talent and growing the team to 9. Their combined decades of experience and our stringent mentoring and training programme, mean that we can confidently offer world-class web development and marketing services to clients spanning multiple industries. In addition, we have invested heavily in safeguarding dedicated research and development time each and every week to continuously upskill the team and enhance the way we build websites.
The team is based all over the UK, and we have worked hard to ensure that communication and collaboration continue to be the foundation of how we work. We implement daily scrums, weekly stand-ups, and a mentoring system, to support the less experienced team members, who have made astounding progress in the quality of the work they deliver.
Notably, our ‘Rising Star’, Darren Griffin, has completely embodied our agency values – continuously enhancing his knowledge, and taking a limitless approach to his career. He has continued to go from strength to strength, at times in the face of adversity. Since joining in a junior role two years ago, Darren is now a steadfast force in our team, always keen to learn and completely immersing himself in his craft.
The quality of our output is also attributed to the continued support of Alix, our QA Manager, whose meticulous attention to detail ensures that we only ever put out the best work. The team structure ensures that everyone is fully supported professionally and personally, with our Development Director, Tom Wake, and Head of Development, Duncan Brown, always on hand to provide professional guidance and support. That said, the team all bring a wealth of individual skills to a highly proficient combined talent set, with everyone, across all experience levels, continually learning from one another.
The consequence of this quality of work is demonstrable in the results and evidence of the impact these websites have had not only on business performance and brand visibility but also on empowering and enabling in-house teams to enjoy a digital presence that streamlines their operations and truly communicates their brand values and position.

What would it mean to win at Dev Awards 2024?
We’re no strangers to entering – and winning – industry awards. We’ve attended the UK Search Awards since our early agency days, picking up our first win in 2021. Last year, we were proud to achieve 2 Dev UK Awards for our work with Hey Girls and our own website.
This year, we’re back, with bigger, better, highly evidenced submissions that reflect the growth and progress that our team and agency have made in the last year. We’re so extremely proud of our whole agency, and our development team is integral to client success.
